Yellowknife Food Bank -- we collect non-perishable food donations throughout the year.
Transitional and Homeless Shelters -- throughout the year we collect toiletries and other needed or requested items for Alison McAteer House, Bailey House, and Centre for Northern Families.
At our autumn "Kindness Explosion" we give away new mitts, gloves, toques, and other winter needs at an outdoor central downtown location. Hot chocolate and baked goods given to everyone.
We financially support our Synod's Lutheran Campus Ministries. They provide Christian fellowship and support at 5 different campuses throughout Alberta.
Our members volunteer for city cleanups, park cleanups, and homeless shelters.
Holy Family provides a meal and gathering time for the On Eagle's Wings summer Bible School teachers who converge in Yellowknife from across Canada and the United States on their was to remote northern communities.
And we're always looking for more ways to live our faith and show Christ's love...
