We take serious delight in learning... it's part of growing closer to God, falling ever more deeply in love with Jesus, being renewed by the Holy Spirit, and maturing in a faith that is moved to serve people in Jesus' name.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
- Age three through grade six. Sunday School is offered mid-September through mid-May, at 10 AM. Our teachers love the students and work hard to bring a meaningful lesson each week.
CONFIRMATION
- Grade 7 and up. Confirmation is a time for study and reflection. The hard questions from "the real world" are welcome here. We dig into the Bible and essentials of the Christian Faith like The Ten Commandments, The Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed, Forgiveness, Baptism and Communion, Prayer. Offered mid-September through mid-May, at 10 AM.
ADULT CLASSES (high school students & adults)
- Sunday morning Bible study covers one book of the Bible at a time. We look for the stories behind the story and how to apply the Bible's teaching today. No prior experience is necessary. Bibles are provided, or you can bring one. Offered mid-September though June, at 10 AM.
- Spiritual Formation Class helps people learn and practice specific ways to grow deeper in faith in a supportive small group setting. When the eight-week class is done, you can join our Spiritual Formation Group or start another group. Contact the Pastor if you are interested.
- Theology Tuesdays is a class to explore central themes of Christianity for Lutherans... grace, the difference between law and gospel, Baptism and Communion, how to read the Bible, and more. Next session TBA. Contact the church office if you are interested.
- Other classes are offered throughout the year.
