Super Shepherds & Mickey's Mice The Faithful Few Supper at our destination.
Preparing for Kindness Explosion event. This year, in two hours, we gave away over 300 items of winter wear.
Annual Kindness Explosion - Lots of warm socks, mitts, toques and scarves were given away. Hot chocolate and baking were also served. Many people enjoyed the refreshments and the homeless and those less fortunate welcomed the new winter wear. Yellowknife has extremely cold winters with temperatures averaging below -25C.
First Communion Class instruction and receiving First Communion
Donations of food staples, diapers, baby formula, basic toiletries, and packets with neckwarmers, socks, mitts were given to The Centre for Northern Families. They provide shelter for homeless women, life skill programs for mothers in need.
Special personal kits with basic toiletries, socks, mitts and other items were given to the YWCA Alsion McAteer House, a shelter for battered women and their children.
Confirmation Class assisting with the worship service and Children's Story time.
